I wish I had the patience to program again. Getting older, my perspective has changed. I can't stop looking at most programming languages as primitive constructs to craft computer code. At this point, we should be able to articulate pure business logic and requirements in very simple expressions (by voice or finger) that would then be modeled and generated by a computer. We wouldn't have to sweat out all of the idiosyncrasies of syntax and grammar of software infrastructure and rudimentary expressions but instead spend time on the real creativity of programming--coming up with abstract concepts and ideas that would be converted automatically by computer into functional programs.

Sorry... guess it had been a while since I'd gotten this off my chest.

    Love the [/rant] bbcode tag

I keep telling myself that I'm going to learn. I got to an average standard with VB and C#, but I stopped during revision for my A-levels and when I came to pick up where I left off, I had forgotten so much of it, it didn't seem worthwhile. I want to get to a very good standard of C#, then possibly look into starting C++. C++ syntax looks horrific compared to C# though!

C# is easier than C++ in my opinion, I've made my version of the Windows Notepad, but that was the last time I wrote any program, so I'm attempting to relearn it all :)

I know you're a bit East of me, but if Battle is anything like Southampton was this morning then I don't blame you. I just wrung out my trousers and could've easily filled a pint glass

so where does gracie go to the toilet when it rains, does she have a litter tray, or do you come home to little parcels in the living room,
gracie has a fur coat so the wind shouldnt be a problem, also you could invest in a dog coat like this type with the profits from your battery selling empire on ebay.
if its you bothered about the rain then im sure your charity shop has waterproofs on sale, surely you must brave the weather to get to the charity shop and the job center to sign on.

Yes it was, I got rather wet just walking to the charity shop. Anyway this evening I saw this old Triumph Herald in the Esso/Tesco Express near where I live.

Also Boohbah, we have a large garden so Gracie goes there when I cannot walk her. I'm really hoping to walk her tomorrow and Sunday to make up for it.
