Carl, I think you should search for specific jobs .... either in a bank or in a zoo.

    Use WSUSOffline :)

WSUS Offline Update - Update Microsoft Windows and Office without an Internet connection

You can download all of the updates, burn them to a disc, then install them all at the same time. It's a lot faster to install them this way, not to mention that you only have to download them once.

Thanks Tom! It's too late now, but I will keep this in mind for future reference.

I wish I had the patience to program again. Getting older, my perspective has changed. I can't stop looking at most programming languages as primitive constructs to craft computer code. At this point, we should be able to articulate pure business logic and requirements in very simple expressions (by voice or finger) that would then be modeled and generated by a computer. We wouldn't have to sweat out all of the idiosyncrasies of syntax and grammar of software infrastructure and rudimentary expressions but instead spend time on the real creativity of programming--coming up with abstract concepts and ideas that would be converted automatically by computer into functional programs.

Sorry... guess it had been a while since I'd gotten this off my chest.
Got thrown out of programming class for using my finger.

New Windows 7 installation is complete. Hurray! Its nice to have a leaner, meaner copy of 7 running on my PC. My old copy was installed when 7 first came out, so it was time.
