    SATA MOLEX Bodge

Okay so i was so happy after my attempt of a 6pin pci - e power cable i decided to make a new SATA MOLEX connecter for my psu as i dont have a working psu with one build it

I started by removing a double sata molex wire loom from a broken psu

Then i got a female /male extender molex and wired the sata molexs in to that , then soldered and heat shrink wrapped and taped,

    Simple
    My Mental Schematic ...

    Sounds good.
I've got a few press fit Sata power connectors, not sure where I got them, but these are what you normally use to put sata connectors on the power cables.

It is fun to make you own cables though. I recently separated front panel connectors to attach to a new motherboard.

That first one looks identical to the ones on my Corsair PSU modular cables.
