    IE 9 tv commerical

Has anybody seen the IE 9 commercial? I've only started seeing it with in the last month or so. It's pretty cool but brings to asking the question; why now? Why now with windows 8 coming out in October w/IE10. So why is MS pushing IE 9, especially after the big security debacle where a few foreign countries said not to use it. Just wondering...

I kinda wondered why now as well, seeing as IE10 will be out soon.

I've not seen that one, obviously over here we must get the cut down version of that ad because the one on now in the UK only has a few bits of that showing.

Joan is correct, as always we Brits wind up with the leftovers, never given the full story.

Might be a renewed assault upon FF though. I have noticed that FF is using more resources lately. And my continual moan is that I cannot access Webmail in FF. ("Firefox no longer supports this technology") IE9 does support it. So I use both, not an ideal situation, considering migrating or going to Chrome.

I've also been wondering why M$ has been shelling out the sheckels to push IE9 when IE10 is just 'round the corner.
