    Parrots

    Hi guys!
First, before you read this, I know it's not in the right forum, I know it's not detailed enough, and I know it's not at the right time, but I'm really worried, so I thought I'd ask in the forum where people seem most friendly...

I need some help with my parrots. I've had parrots since almost 2 years, but now I want to find my birds a new owner. The first year or so the parrots were incredibly friendly and whenever they heard me returning from school I could already hear them screaming and jumping in the cage. When I let the parrots out of their cage for a flight they always made a few "laps" around the room and then landed on my hand. I could pet them, hug them, rub them. I loved them and they loved me.
Unfortunately, now, only after 2 years they don't seem to like me anymore. I've always payed attention to them whenever I can, but now I have to go to school, my parents are always busy and... I feel like I'm torturing the birds because I can't take care of them anymore. I'm thinking of giving them away for free, but I want to make sure their new owner will take care of them with love and care, just as I did when I first got them. I don't want to just "get rid" of my birds. I want to make sure they are safe and sound.
What should I do? I'm really worried...

If you live in an area that has a shop that sells parrots, ask if they can recommend anyone... If you have a good zoo, they might be able to help... Good Luck!!

Thanks. There is a Zoo in a nearby town, I'll make dad drive me there. Better solution (I think) there is a pet shop a few couple o' blocks away from my house. They have a professional vet there, they sell gourmet foods, they're real nice and even though their products are really expensive, a 1 KG bird food-pack bought from there was eaten for less than a week by my little friends.

I've had some parrots and been around others in the past, what are they?

Tews suggestion is the best option; they would die in the wild.
