programing for the newest Android (Ice Cream Sandwich) books ? sites ?

I was going to work on some apps for myself on my ASUS TF300T tablet. I have the 32 gig version, 1 GHz, 1 gig ram. Ice Cream Sandwich V4.0 operating system.

What are some good books, that will take me from scratch to writing my own apps ? I have two, one seems to dive into the deep end of the pool. The other is, under first impression, too simplistic. I do have a degree in programming, but that was in VAX Pascal. Nothing recent.

And good web sites ? I do tend to get lost when I try to read detailed wikis. So I would prefer books, but if the wiki has downloadable pdfs I can read off-line, that would be great.

I was kinda hoping some of you had ideas on what you thought were good books. I'll check there, but the people photos all look 20 or more years younger than me.
