Windows 8 Launch fail in a few places

There is a large nationwide based PC company in a city near to where I live, and a good source tells me that the Win 8 launch in their establishment was a bit of a flop .... they had radio adverts, posters, banners, newspaper ads, a live band free give-aways plus snacks etc. They had a clearance sale last week to get rid of the Windows 7 machines prior to the Win8 launch.
They sold 4 of 30+ machines in the Windows 7 clearance stock (which wasn't massively discounted)
But of the 19 people that turned up for the win8 launch they sold 1 laptop and 1 PC and both purchased an additional copy of Windows 7 to install on their shiny new units as they didn't want win8 .... not a good start ... I feel sorry for the poor sod that runs the burger stand in the car park, he was told he would make a killing on launch day so he got in a load of extra stock
