It's Official: Water Found on the Moon

Since man first touched the moon and brought pieces of it back to Earth, scientists have thought that the lunar surface was bone dry. But new observations from three different spacecraft have put this notion to rest with what has been called "unambiguous evidence" of water across the surface of the moon.

It'll take more than traces to make colonization feasible.. The main use for any water that they do find will be for the production of Hydrogen as a fuel source .. If they get thirsty, they always have ...

Zid.. this is not the first time that this has been postulated... The main source of the water will be under the surface of the moon, much like oil is on Earth...There is no water on the surface except in minute amount of ice at the polar caps... NASA has known about the presence of water on the moon since 2008 .. This is not anything new, nor is it some closely guarded secret..

Yeah I knew that...it is just that they are apparently building up for a big announcement tomorrow...I assumed that they found a reasonable water supply and they might be plans in the works to somehow make use of it

    Like a lunar base...

Call me a little secluded but I would totally live in a lunar home. I find something majestic about the moon and I regularly read up about it
