Wow, Lady, and here I thought I was the only one who didn't have a Facebook account. Could it have to do with our names?

Hi Lady F.. It could perhaps be.. I did at one time have an account.. for a whole week, I set it to be my friends , I kept getting all these invitations from people I
had no idea who they were, wanting me to add them as my friend.
NO way, was I going to do such a thing .
I ask a friend how to empty my account and delete it, that's exactly what I did,
    never looking back.:)

You guys/gals aren't alone. I don't have a Facebook account either. True that almost everyone does, but I'm hearing more and more that many people are starting to have a lot of problems with privacy issues, breaching of contracts by Facebook, disclosing of confidential info, etc. So I've opted out ---
    No Facebook for me.

I never tried it. The one I really can't comprehend is Twitter. From what I understand the max msg length is analogous to what we'd use as a signature here. Is posting a bumper sticker thought really that useful?

    I don't get it.

The awkward moment when we're talking about cheese, when we started talking about politics :)

Actually, Twitter has evolved into something interesting and useful. The original concept of just stating where you are or what you're doing was kind of lame, but now it is more being used to actually exchange thoughts and ideas with others, and have actual conversations. True, messages are short --- but there's usually enough space to say what you need to. I especially enjoy following certain comedians whose tweets are hilarious!
