    Hardware Site Mistake

So I ordered a couple hinges for my dell inspiron 1545 from the 'supposedly dell hardware site' parts-people.com. They supposedly claim they have dell parts. I placed an order on 15 october then cancelled due to a problem. I re-placed the order later or the next day and later received an email telling me their system didn't charge me for shipping. So I told them to go ahead and charge my credit card the shipping(5-10 business days). I called them this evening and the guy there tells me they forgot to ship it because the shipping department wasn't notified. I told him twice it was a mistake on their part and he, in a monotone voice, apologized and I don't think he even meant it.

Anyways I am planning to call back or email them on monday and tell them since they made this mistake shouldn't I be entitled to a refund for the shipping because they wasted 17 days of my life without sending the damn thing to me. What do you think?

I think they should of offered free shipping to help compensate you for the mistakes they made. Their/there internal communication problems are not your problems. If they pay for their/there own mistakes they will stop making them.
