A Rose By Any Other Name................

I just noticed yesterday that there is a Rose in the upper left of the screen. How long has it been there and does it signify anything? You can't do something like this and not expect me to ask about it.

You must be using the SF Default (CDN) skin to see the Remembrance Day poppy.

Yea, after I wrote my message I decided it wasn't a Rose. In the US we have Veterans Day on Nov 11, but I don't believe there is a Poppy involved in it or maybe I stand to be corrected.

they were first used by the American Legion to commemorate American soldiers who died in that war (1914–1918).

What else would you expect? We learn our history from standardized tests these days. And Wikipedia (but you have to know what you're looking up in order to look it up).

Not saying that's the case here. Just making a generalization. But wouldn't it be fun to go to school and learn things? :)
