Parrots Hi guys! First, before you read this, I know it's not in the right forum, I know it's not detailed enough, and I know it's not at the right time, but I'm really worried, so I thought I'd ask in the forum where people seem most friendly...
I need some help with my parrots. I've had parrots since almost 2 years, but now I want to find my birds a new owner. The first year or so the parrots were incredibly friendly and whenever they heard me returning from school I could already hear them screaming and jumping in the cage. When I let the parrots out of their cage for a flight they always made a few "laps" around the room and then landed on my hand. I could pet them, hug them, rub them. I loved them and they loved me.
Unfortunately, now, only after 2 years they don't seem to like me anymore. I've always payed attention to them whenever I can, but now I have to go to school, my parents are always busy and... I feel like I'm torturing the birds because I can't take care of them anymore. I'm thinking of giving them away for free, but I want to make sure their new owner will take care of them with love and care, just as I did when I first got them. I don't want to just "get rid" of my birds. I want to make sure they are safe and sound.
What should I do? I'm really worried... | My System Specs |

If you live in an area that has a shop that sells parrots, ask if they can recommend anyone... If you have a good zoo, they might be able to help... Thanks. There is a Zoo in a nearby town, I'll make dad drive me there. Better solution (I think) there is a pet shop a few couple o' blocks away from my house. They have a professional vet there, they sell gourmet foods, they're real nice and even though their products are really expensive, a 1 KG bird food-pack bought from there was eaten for less than a week by my little friends. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Multirama PC Expert [Bulgaria] OS Windows 7 Home Premium [64-Bit] CPU Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-G31M-S2C Memory 4094 MB DDR2 Graphics Card SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6970 (2 GB VRAM) Sound Card Realtek ALC883 @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster BX2235 [21.5" LCD with LED Backlight] Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard A4 Tech X7 G800 (Gaming Keyboard) Mouse Razer Lachesis (4000 DPI, Blue Version) PSU Cooler Master GX750 - 750W Case Multirama (Black / 2010 Revision) Cooling Stock + Cooler Master Hard Drives Hitachi HDT721075SLA360 - 750 GB Internet Speed Spectrum Net "Start" [15 Mbps] Other Info Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch S (Graphics Design Tablet) |

I've had some parrots and been around others in the past, what are they?
Tews suggestion is the best option; they would die in the wild. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number * BFK Customs * OS W 7 64-bit Ultimate CPU Intel Q9550 Yorkfield Motherboard ASUS P5Q Pro Memory 8GB Dominator 8500C5D Graphics Card ATI : XFX 5870 Sound Card Realtek HD Audio 7-1 Monitor(s) Displays 1x 47" LCD HDMI & 3x 26" LCD HDMI Screen Resolution 1920x1080P & 1920x1200 Keyboard Microsoft 500 Mouse Razer Diamondback 3G PSU Corsair 620HX Case Cooler Master RC-690 Cooling Tuniq Tower 120, 2x 140mm and 3x 120mm case fans Hard Drives 1x 80GB Intel X25-M G2 SSD : 1x 500GB & 1x 640GB WD Caviar Black(s) Internet Speed 14 Mb/s Other Info 1x Koutech 3Gb/s SATA HDD Hot Swap Rack All times are GMT -5.
