My (my companies) first computers CPU filled a whole room (in 1961). Here are some pictures. ibm 650 - Google Images
There was an earlier one that I programmed at university in 1958, but just for some minor stuff. Z11
I dont, but if it was the one for my 1st full build it would look like this...
i owned an oldskool ibm at with a 80286 cpu - however i didn't keep the chip.
i do still have the next one though, a 25 mhz 386...
after my 386, i used to save all my old cpus from machines that i acquired but didn't sell on, but for some reason threw them all out a coupla years ago...stupid mickey i had a couple of 486s, a p60, p100, some celerons, an amd k5, some k6s, durons...and an old cyrix too, z3r010...
Well here is my "real" 1st computer's CPU. It was in the Apple IIc (I don't have it)
MOS Technology 6502
