I could use some help in 'forum help'

Sorry, that title may not be correct, don't really know how to word it.

My question is: what do the Red x's & Green +'s mean in the list of 'My Posts'? I'm trying to go back thru mine to see what I may be able to mark as Solved.

    Thanx,

Thank you, I wondered about that but thought ( wrongly ) that I'd read them all.

I should probably change them like I did in thread to something a little more self explanatory like instead of etc.

    Maybe a job for tomorrow.

I must be doing something wrong either when I log in or log out because just about everytime I come to the forum I have to click on 'My Posts' 'cuz I don't remember what I did last time & will always look at the 'green+ ones but 'have' read them all & they still have green+ by them. ?????

I had to change this from Solved to Unsolved. I'm sure it's something wrong on my part but I just came here again to check back on my posts & found some old ones with Green +'s so went back to see what was new ( see # 2 above) & there wasn't anything new since my last look at them.
I'm very guilty of forgetting to 'Rep' people & of marking it 'Solved' so thought if I came here to find all my posts it would save me some time to find the ones I needed to work on but am wasting time instead, due to reading all the Green +'s. Am I reading the Admin's post wrong? Is there a better way for me (an old dizzy blonde with a bigtime case of CRS ) to check up on my 'way too many dumb' posts?
    Thanks.

another way to find what you have been doing recently is to click the quick links tab at the top of the forum page and select threads i posted in,
quite occasionally a very old thread will show because someone has resurrected it but more often than not its the most current threads that are still active.

Personally, I just open my user control panel, which lists any threads I've posted in that have been active since I've last checked, these also now show up in the announcements on the top banner of every page.

I've also subscribed to certain sub forums that I am particularly interested and these shop in the user cp.

Use the forum tools to subscribe to a forum

Between that and the live posts list I manage to see post posts I need to :)

Thanks guys. Tried your suggestions & for me the best is Quick Links.

    Will mark Solved.
