First decent TV series I've seen for a LONG TIME

    Hi there
I'd almost given up on TV - but a colleague of mine gave me some DVD's of the US series COVERT AFFAIRS -- I must say it's one of the most intelligent series involving the CIA that I've ever seen with decent characters and outstanding actors.

Anyway a great change from boring "Reality" or terrible "Talent" shows.

Any other fans of this show here.

    I think it's GREAT.

    Cheers

Yes, I watch the show and I quite enjoy it.
I'll confess to being a stereotypical man and when the first promotional clips were shown, thinking,"I'll give the pilot episode a shot, she is cute." Example below, for those unfamiliar with the show....

But it has turned out to be much better than I expected. Clever storylines, great acting, and yes, it's not a reality or talent show (which I avoid like the plague).

You should look up "Burn Notice". It is well done and is along some what the same theme as "Covert Affairs". == Another thread was talking about the temperature. How cold is it in your town?

I was just curious if in India you received the shows when the USA did. Person of interest had 23 episodes last season and is in the second season here. Are you in the same time frame?

I watch that show but not very often, one of the better shows on TV. I don't watch much TV anymore. I should just buy the DVD's.

Nope, very few shows are actually broadcast live here . We do have cbs and fox network available . Like in mine STB , channels like CBS love , CBS spark , CBS prime , Fox crime , Fox traveller , FX , Nat Geo Music, Nat Geo Adventure, Nat Geo Wild , AXN , HBO , MGM , WB Channel , Fox Action Movies .
Person of Interest was used to aired live on a star world but it was taken off halfway through the season .
