Why the World Will Not End Today

As most of you are aware, December 21, 2012 is the end of the world according to the ancient Mayans who lived in the first century AD. They had made the calendar which stopped on this date. It is assumed that they knew the world was ending and thus did not continue it. == Here is my take on the situation. The Mayans probably had an economy much like we do today. They could have had an economic slowdown and there were jobs being cut. The calendar maker was expendable since he had made the calendar almost through 2012. The boss came in and laid him off. == No need to worry, we will be here tomorrow. :)

The last Mayan calendar maker died the day he was to finish December 2012 and start on 2013.

As with all bureaucracy's they didn't plan for the future.

That's the same as Nibiru, HAARP, cities on Mars, the Greys and the dreaded Millenium Bug.
It was a mistake in reading mayan stuff, then someone added so much BS to it that everything went well beyond ridiculous.

It is more or less the end of their "year" (which is pretty damn long), and they would celebrate such events, according to modern knowledge.
