Today I rang 5 heating suppliers and finally managed to find somewhere that has the part in stock so we can fix our broken boiler.
It will be great to have hot water and heating in time for Christmas
Merry Christmas all

England a foreign country? Not by my reckoning. Everywhere else, Yes.
As regards drinking from a damp glass, how can you drink from a dry one? A drink, of whatever you fancy, is by definition wet. Ergo, if you pour said concoction in to a glass and proceed to drink it, the said glass is no longer dry since it contains (or contained) a liquid, a property of which is being wet. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Dwarf Dwf/11/2012 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core-i5-3570K 4-core @ 3.4GHz (Ivy Bridge) (OC 4.2GHz) Motherboard ASRock Z77 Extreme4-M Memory 4 x 4GB DDR3-1600 Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B (16GB) Graphics Card 2 x AMD Radeon HD7770 1GB CrossFired (OC 1100MHz/1250MHz) Sound Card Realtek High Definition on board solution (ALC 898) Monitor(s) Displays ViewSonic VA1912w Widescreen (VGA) Screen Resolution 1440x900 Keyboard Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 3000 (USB) Mouse Microsoft Comfort Mouse 3000 for Business (USB) PSU XFX Pro Series 850W Semi-Modular Case Gigabyte IF233 Cooling 1 x 120mm Front Inlet 1 x 120mm Rear Exhaust Hard Drives OCZ Agility 3 SSD 120GB SATA III x2 (RAID 0)

If you pour neat alcohol into a dry glass, the capillary attraction of alcohol to alcohol is greater than the attraction of alcohol to glass therefore the glass stays dry! Pour it into a wet glass and you catch a cold!

Q.E.D. Sounds like I shall have to put this theory to the test when I get home from work in a few hours. It may require several attempts using various brands and blends. Please do but remember this is not a theory, it is a well proven FACT. Should you find otherwise in your testing then that will undoubtedly be due to extreme inebriation so won't count!
