still not smoking
done a week now, been shopping again and the smell of cigs was horrible.
hopefully the smell wont be as significant in future as i have only just stopped.
i can almost taste them as my senses are working overtime. or maybe thats normal and im not aware after 30 years

thanks dinesh, i think i am getting there, i feel like the pangs/cravings are diminishing.

It's normal to notice how bad they smell. Makes you wonder how you ever smoked, doesn't it? Good on you for keeping it up!

Grats Boobah on one week! I am happy for you :) keep up the good work.

im working on beating the habit ,currently im using patches and a spray. so i still have the nicotine but the smoking is gone. eventually i will have a lesser dose of patch/nicotine and gradually wean off of nicotine completely,
by then the rituals and habit will be completely gone/forgotten.
