It's snowing here now.. which is quite rare..tonite we'll be at or below 26º,I just hope we don't lose our electricity,
that's all I have to keep things running .. no gas line to the house , down here there are no fuel sources in a basement,
    or homes.
The high tomorrow in the mid 30s burrrr. I do love to stand at the glass doors and watch the snow slowly falling to the ground, it seems so magical.

Well it's just another rainy day here, again, the winds getting up now though which would blow it away if it stopped long enough. We're surrounded by floods so if it doesn't get any better in the next few days I can't see us being able to get to my daughters for New Year day dinner.

It's put a stop to being able to spread the 5 tons of stone chippings that are on the drive, can't get to the place to buy a shovel and rake, we lent ours to son-in-law and they got broke.

We're getting that winter storm as predicted, but they keep changing what we're supposed to get by the hour. It was supposed to start out with rain changing to freezing rain.....now we're looking at 3-6" of snow with possibly 1/2 inch of ice....my wife didn't go to work & we're all under a Snow Emergency.

Now that's serious. Has she got no snow gear? Don't let her get used to not going to work just because of a bit of snow. You'll make a rod for your own back there!

Don't wish yourself poorly - that is an insult to people who are really ill. At 17 you will be well over a common cold and fit for work at the weekend. Go to work and enjoy it.

Good advice, Mitchell. Quality of life depends upon good health. It should be the first priority.

If you have a job you don't enjoy, then upgrade it to one you like and look forward to. Be the master of your fate and not just along for the ride.

    +1 for greg's comment!
One other reminder...Be Thankful you have a job as there are many who would love to
take your place to put food on the table.
