I love FF Sync. I can move from PC to PC and my latest of 270 favorites are all loaded and alphabetical, my history is in the URL box just by typing a key word - all in real time.

Just be sure not to delete all of your favorites from one linked browser without unlinking it first.

I do that with Maxthon browser. No add-ons needed, I simply install Maxthon on all my PCs and that's it. Favorites, theme, history, saved passwords, RSS feeds, everything as I want them.

I don't know that there will be advantages as a whole, just differences. Maxthon uses Webkit, and switches to Trident (IE uses Trident)if needed to display a page correctly. Firefox uses Gecko. Kari has obviously picked it as it works best for his use. You'd have to try it and see if it does the important things you need, and suits your purpose. A Guy

as an extra back up install xmarks for firefox,
it syncs to all your pc's that you install it on, keeps you logged into the account via firefox and away you go, even if your computer blew up you still have your bookmarks on the xmarks server, every time you save a bookmark it uploads them when you close the browser, they still stay on your pc locally and they load from the server on browser start up .

As a avid user and promoter of Opera, I must say I like Maxthon also. Its definitely my secondary browser but impressed me.

Today, I've been stuck in Knoxville, Tenn. for 13 hours already, with another 12 coming up. But will be in Myrtle Beach SOMETIME tomorrow!
