The home page was changed my accident, but I managed to change it back by using system restore.
Any reason you chose to do System Restore? Seems a little overkill to me for what should be a 30 second job. We've even got a tutorial on it

I got a call from Microsoft Tech Support warning me of malicious software on my PC.

Needless to say, the scam wasn't had and the cretin was hung up on. Wrong household, buddy.

Yes, I had to use system restore as if you try another way it needed a password which I did not have to hand.

A friend lives about 45 kilometers (28 miles) away. I have 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) to Autobahn (motorway, highway), then 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from Autobahn to his house, about 37 kilometers (23 miles) there in between no speed limit Autobahn.

Question: How much driving time is needed for a trip to his place and back home, total of 89 kikometers (55.3 miles) in quite heavy Saturday morning traffic?

    Answer: Not very much!

Oh how I love German no speed limit Autobahns .

Well after an iffy start my Notebook is now running with 8GB of RAM. I'm feeling very pleased with myself, although a little foolish.

I put the new stick in but it wasn't recognised, did it again and the same, still showing just 4GB installed. Opened the machine up again and looked, the light bulb went on then I hadn't pushed it fully into place.

Turn on, yippee 8GB of RAM installed, what makes me laugh though was when I had 4GB I had a score of 4.4 because of the desktop graphics, everything else was high up in the 5 score. Now I have 8GB the memory has gone up to 7.9 the others are still 5+ but the graphics are now down to 4

I'm happy though that I managed to do it myself and not have to get my son-in-law to do it, he's the tech.

I have just managed to make my PC recongize my new phone, so I can connect to the internet with it like I did with my old one. It is faster than my old one and there is 2 speed tests showing the difference.
