Update: I have just spoken to Mum, and Dad as got a bed and Mum was about to go where she is staying in Brighton. Mum will ring me sometime tomorrow to tell me how the operation has gone.

Thanks guys, I have since spoken with my Dad on the phone and he is not allowed eat or drink anything after 00:00GMT, so hopefully that means that the operation will be tomorrow morning and will be coming home sometime on Tuesday. I will keep you updated.
