Falling skies seasons 1 and 2 -- Great stuff

Hi there
I think this show is Brilliant -- however we aren't scheduled to get it -- but (I shouldn't say it) somebody recommended me to a site known as "The fillipino Felines" where I managed to get it.

I don't use this type of approach normally and am quite HAPPY to pay for a legit DVD of the series -- but if it's not available where I am then of course people will use "Other Methods".

I'm surprised that the Movie / TV industry doesn't go down the route of making content easily available --this would cut out I'm sure at least 50% and possibly more of "unofficial downloads". -- The approach taken to try and stem torrent sites just won't work --there's too many ways round the system for ISP's to block connections -- and as fast as one site disappears another opens up.

And as I said I'm quite happy to PAY for a DVD -- even then you have to do all sorts of things to make sure the stupid Regional encoding is compatible with your hardware -- and breaking the Region encoding can in some places carry the threat of a HIGHER penalty than actually downloading a Pirate copy.

The Law is in a REAL MESS here isn't it.

Happy Xmas everybody (and it's a great series -- there isn't a lot of SCI-FI on TV at the moment).
