    Useful tools

Here's a tool Windows 7 Forums - View Profile: ICit2lol introduced me to and it is very helpful. It has serreated jaws to firmly grip and can lock on some smaller items. It's very useful, I've so far used it to hold small screws to put them back into their holes, put front panel connectors on, and to hold wires for soldering.
Search eBay for "Mosquito Forceps" - you won't need OR grade ones to hold some small parts.

    Please add your own suggestions.

I always keep a telescopic magnet, a small set of needle-nose pliars and a pair of hemostats in my toolbox whether I'm working on computers or firearms(you'd be surprised how similar the tools are for the two!) . These look fantastic for getting at something from a weird angle. Saves me the trouble of heating the hemostats up and putting a slight bend in them. Good find!

Kelly eBay has a boatload of styles as well. Some have quite long handles and would be useful for reaching father into tight places. I think there are some with more angle with longer jaws too.

I have 2 pair in my tool backpack. Haven't had much need of them lately. Can't remember where I got them. A Guy
