Yes, in the Bay Area, we had a sprinkle late last week, really just made the ground wet. Possible some light rain this afternoon. The snow pack in the Sierras, where much of our water comes from, is only 20% of normal. So far 2014 is the driest year on record. It is already serious, and will only get worse without significant rainfall/snowfall.

Very true but believe it or not, it is raining right now--not much but still raining.

Now its 46f, tonite the bottom falls out with 2-4" of snow by morning.

Been raining almost all day here. Expect more tonight. Every bit helps, been a long time!

We get an unusual amount of rain this year. Must be an El Ninjo year. Temps were very low last week (in the 50s F). But now it's picking up again - but still rain in the forecast. Usually it hardly ever rains in the winter.
