Yeah but when you get wind and rain and more rain practically all year you're happy to bake in those temperatures. I like to bake anyway! Lol!

Texas and Australia are on my places to visit along with Dollywood in Tennessee.

I was in Amarillo TX in the Air Force and it's an interesting country state to visit. all typed of extremes. dollywod I can pass though.

I would love to go to Australia too.

It has snowed in Amarillo. Houston has enough heat and humidity that you might be able to convince yourself that you could row a rowboat through the air it is so thick. Careful of your feet.

As for travel, I have wanted to be able to look up and see the Magellanic Clouds and the Alpha Centauri system. I live too far north for that.

I've been struck down with the man-flu....first my youngest daughter got it then my son and now me.
