This is one of the DEW (Distant Early Warning) sites in Greenland where I was stationed as a medic in 1971. It often got to -50F!!!

I understand that -50 is balmy in Siberia. The get up to -65C and when it is -30C, they put on short sleeve shirts.

I remember one time the wind chill was -85F, however the foehn winds blew in overnight and when I woke up it was only -10F, and a group of us went outside in Tshirts ... for a very short period of time!

They don't show it here but, we have snow starting just about now. Turning to freezing rain overnight, turning to all rain by mid-morning.

Sounds like our forecast mate. We already have a light dusting of snow, temp is 25°F now.

Lucky you. We have 32f now, dropping to mid 20's tonight.

We had a low overnight of 9° two nights ago, chill factor was -6.

Over here it's hit or miss either raining or sunny right now it's partially cloudy but looks dark and ready to Rain

Dang, no where near that here, yet. Even though this morning I woke up to 23f.
