    Very nice post Wolfgang! I enjoyed those photos immensely. I often wonder what my life would have been like if I had been born in the 1850s instead of the 1950s.

    It would have been a lot harder life then we had it.

    I realize that Jerry, and people didn't live as long either, but having the opportunity to carve out a place of your own, without having to deal with endless government rules, regulations and taxes would have been worth it in my humble opinion.

    Also thank you Slartybart. I just spent about a hour digging around and I did find my old disc of Ansel Adams photos of National Parks.

    I love those old photos, along with the notes below each pic, those were extremely hard times, no wonder people had such short lives . I want to get back here for more photos and reading.
