Visited 5 Dining Facilities on Ft Hood--chatted with employees and gov't counterparts. Took 100+ photos. Collected best decorated facility award at DFAC 41018 for DOL. Ate too danged much. Lip swelled up from too much shrimp cocktail. Now home, evacuated, and took a zyrtec. Got outta the tie. Feel much better. LOL.

Sounds like time to take it easy - and maybe grab a turkey sandwich

Whatever you do, enjoy your free time - sounds like you've earned it

We've had over 5 inches of rain in the past few days.. you may have all you want!!
Have [ some years ago ] survived 14 inches of rain over night. [Tropical cyclone & mayhem. The screaming winds drowned out the sounds of thunder & rain. An expensive block of land for sale near by was a ravine next day.]
Such is the power of nature. All rather humbling.
In retrospect, an experience not to be missed.

That's a lot of rain in one day

We get the occasional typhoon, but that is severe.

Mother nature demands respect in a powerful way.

    Hope your staying dry.
