    Not to far - other side of the city - quiet pedestrian only area :) complete with brook across parklands for view . Just wish it wasn't so close to Christmas as all the offices you have to deal with are in party mode and don't realy want to bother.

    Had a 40 mile round trip to collect papers today because couldn't trust post

    That's not good, at least the PO called off any strikes until after Christmas I reckon it was so they didn't miss out on Christmas bonuses, but at least it means the posts do seem to be getting through, or as well as they do at this time of the year I think it took about a week for me to receive a card from my friend in Canada.

    Today I installed Linux Mint on my 4GB USB drive and successfully booted from the USB drive. I didn't want to do a dual boot so I m running it from USB drive. Its cool.

    I spent today watching a bad movie on the SyFy channel, surfing the Interweb, jamming out to music, and ripping CD's to FLAC. Riveting, huh?
