Should we be concerned

I read this today and the thing about it that concerns me is the point regarding the relationship between Microsoft and Dell I am of course thinking of the use of the ISO we put on sticks.

If they really were trying to save it, how do they account for Win 8?

If I remember correctly the U.S.A. is the only country you can have a leverage buy out. Because of that it make companies in the U.S.A. think short term. Think back a lot of years about GoodYear Tire and Rubber Co. If Mr. Dell is on the ball like he use to be I think Dell will grow.

So do we break out the pitchforks, or just sit back and have another cup of tea?

So running the danger of sounding boring will this take over if it goes ahead does anyone think Microsoft will deny that privilege of making the ISO's.

If so then I had better start making a couple of ISO sticks up.

I am not real interested in who gets what in fact I find the whole corporate setup as interesting as watching paint dry.

MS's stake in it is less than 20 %...always has been...
Public or Privete this would not give them enough clout to change anything drastically or force Dell to do something it does not want to do...

What is a buffer overrun, should i be concerned?
Very rarely i get a 'Buffer Overrun detected' message, which mentions something about a Cyberlink program going corrupt for some wild reason. I never deal with or use anything related to Cyberlink that i know of, at least not directly. I have no idea what the message is about, or what i should do...

Concerned about bots
Recently I have received numerous calls from someone claiming to be from the Windows Support Team. I have always hung up on them because I suspected they were phishing. However, the last call said that my PC was being taken over and used as a bot. Has anyone else been receiving these calls?

Laptop CPU above 88 C but under 50% load? Concerned?
I have an Asus laptop. A lot of things have been faulty with it. One stick of RAM went bad and then the HDD went bad. I replaced the HDD but never ended up buying a new stick of RAM. I left only 2GB in it on 1 stick. I don't know if this makes any difference but I think it's worth noting. ...

Locking Up When the Internet is Concerned
For the past few weeks I've been having issues with explorer.exe locking up every so often. The first sign of trouble is when the icon for the strength of the signal in the notification area stays at 5 empty bars with an unmoving blue ring imposed over it. Clicking on the icon causes explorer.exe...

I'm concerned now.
I was wanting to get a Windows 7 machine and being a hard core gamer I have read many posts about games like flightsim that don't work in the 64 bit environment, so I am thinking of abandoning the whole Windows machine idea if my 32 bit programs wont run or run poorly. I heard nothing but good...

Maybe, just maybe, Apple is concerned
First some background: I have used MS windows since the mid-80s. I recently dumped my PC for a Mac Book Pro due to extensive issues with Vista. I am quite happy with the MPB but my work requires me to run some windows-software (Visio and MS Project to be specific). I use VMware fusion to run...
