How to Ask a Question When You Want Technical Help

Quote:
Before you go to a forum or help desk with a computer problem, it is essential that you be prepared properly. How you ask your question or present your problem is key to obtaining help. Be sure to have all the facts about your problem lined up beforehand. You will simply waste your time (and the tech’s) if you are vague about what your problem is. In this tip, I'll give some suggestions for getting the best help.

Is Samsung N150 Plus the full model number or does it have any others like Samsung N150-JP0 Plus??

Sounds like you didn't save the background file properly. Where did you download this background from, do you have a link???

Again, what options, do you have a link to the tutorial??

Restructure your request for help and post it in the Tutorial that I believe you found help in or the Customization - Windows 7 Help Forums, and you will have much better results where over a quarter million of our members can see it.

The title of your thread could be along the lines of "Need help installing background on my Netbook".
