, ok, my head is spinning with dumb questions.

@Bigmck, did you click on Joan's link to get your's downloaded? I just tried it again & got the same thing as I did before. Will attach shot.

@Britton30, in your post#17 you said "Save AS .gif", which I think I know how to do but then what? Am I supposed to have created a folder named gif's somewhere which I then would open, click on the one I want, & it will add to my post just like the ones here in this forum?

Grits, when you click Save as, a dialog popup will ask you where to save and the option of file type. Put in any folder you like, make a new one if you like. Mine is called "Special Smileys". Then upload, email etc. as you like.

Yes, it loads and works fine. It is not a trial version, but a freebie. Click on Joan's link and a page opens up with this to click on

Tried it again & followed thru with the install. Mine came up as a trial version but went ahead with it. I played around with it a bit, then was going to come back here to post but got the same pop up about "IE not responding" as I did with WOT. I tried going 'online' with several sites & got the same thing so Uninstalled Smileycons & now no problem with IE.

You could try deviantart. Its a safe place to download things from and do have lots of smilies/emoticons. Its pretty avant garde though, so you might have to search a little for what you want/need.

Browsing deviantART

Its a huge site also, but just type smilies or emoticons in the search box. No need to register either.

Cat with two faces. (Janus Cat)
Twelve years ago, a pet breeder brought a strange-looking cat to the Tufts Veterinary Clinic to be euthanized. This cat was Frank and Louie, a two-faced Janus cat. A veterinary nurse named Marty adopted Frank and Louie. Now 12 years old, Frank and Louie has been named the longest-living Janus cat...

Possible to edit this smilie?
Is it possible to make this smilie:  have a transparent background (preferred) or set background color to #141414? Not sure how much work is needed or if it is even possible? Regards, JDobbsy1987
