Smilie Faces

Does anyone know of a site that lets you DL smilie faces for email use that is not loaded with virus' and other bad stuff? I know that is a tall order, but just thought I would ask.

I used a site, smileys.com which has lots of smileys. I bought the pen drive that contained the program and all the different collections. They do have some that are free.

Do you have to install those or does just produce a smile?

I guess I just answered my own question since I typed the colon and close parentheses and ended up with a smiley face. So cool. Thanks,

That's due to them being installed in the forum software and recognized as such, like if one types a "w" followed by a "7" without spaces, it produces "w7". It wouldn't work in, say, Word.

Well that won't get me the smileys in email then. Back to square one. I was trying to find some that are like here where I just click on them and I can use them in email. I am scared to just DL any off of sites.

I use Yahoo email and I can't put an image in a message. I have no idea how the forwards I get with silly pics are made. I have downloaded a couple dozen from Photobucket with no issues. As someone else said, for some you can right click the smiley the Save Picture as.

Is it possible to make this smilie:  have a transparent background (preferred) or set background color to #141414? Not sure how much work is needed or if it is even possible? Regards, JDobbsy1987
