    Windows 9

Folks, there are already a few Windows 9 threads going, and I thought that I'd add one here.

    Windows 9

An obscure blogger claims that he saw a secret Microsoft roadmap, showing that Windows 9 would be released in late 2014. He shows actual scheduled technology conferences that will be used to show betas and pre-release versions.

He's probably making the whole thing up, but his schedule is an interesting source of speculation.

But this one isn't speculation: Windows 9 will not have a 32 bit version. Period. Microsoft warned developers three years ago that in another six years they would drop 32 bit completely. As of now, NO company is manufacturing 32 bit hardware.

i think Microsoft will not choose same names and numbers again and again and it wont be like Windows 9, 10, 11 and so on... they would choose a different name instead after Windows 8..

I already have a copy of Windows 25. Holograms, thought control, all the stuff you would expect.

It also deducts 25% of my income and sends it to MS.

You're probably right. MS is usually working at least two OSs in advance. They had begun work and even had full-time employees for Windows 8 before 7 was released.

Latest rumor: a blogger claiming inside information has posted that the next XBox will have a Windows 9 core. The truth? There is a lot of speculation that MS wants all their systems to have the same OS, as Apple already does. My opinion? An educated guess that is probably correct.
