What happened to that giant particle collision machine?

They tuned it on last time, and they are suppose to test it with full pace in Dec?...i want that black hole

Funny I just saw this thread... just this morning it proved the existence of the Higgs Boson - a sub-atomic particle responsible for mass and weight - a revolutionary step forward for Physics as we know it.

Though I'm not even going to pretend to know exactly what it is.
