How to make link's short on your sig

    How to make link's short on your sig


    I want to put a few tut's on my sig and I just put system restore and it's the full URL. Just wondering how to put it as just system restore as i seen in others

    You could add it like this below:

    System Restore


    {URL="link address"]Text to display[/URL}


    Code:
    {URL="https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html"]System Restore[/URL}
    I've updated your signature with this, but you can still change the text to what you like. :)

    Thanks again Shawn just seems to be not working for me. Here is how i did it.
    URL="Repair Install Install[/URL

    Tried a few other ways also. Like adding in "{URL="...."without "{URL="....."
    Could you post the exact way you would type it in without any " or brackets and so fort please.

    Try this
    [url="address"]Here[/url]
    With the address between the quote marks and change Here to whatever you wanted to say.

    i just type the words, highlight them then click the link icon in the editor then add the url , never done it any different way.
