    Unread visitor messages ?

Is that a message a visitor left on your profile page and is unread ? I`m guessing that`s a no.

Or, a message you sent someone that has not been read yet ?

And why would you keep getting a notification about it, unless that`s the way SF is setup.

    John,

I deleted that visitor message from my end. Do you still have the notice?

Yes Shawn I answered three that were waiting for me and it is still there and I have tried four different threads in between answering yours??

Look it might justbe something to do with my machine it's more of a distraction than anything . But it woud be good to know what is causing it as Doc said he had it too.

Do you think it is just the sytem not unloading that message even though the last message has been answered?

Let's see how it does after all of your VM's have been deleted.

Just open your profile page, that should put a "read" flag on all messages, you shouldn't have to reply to them. I delete most all of mine after reading. It's in my alien nature.

    Great news.

Not sure why it kept giving you a notice about it being a new VM.
