    Books

I want a modest list of your favorite books and why if you don't mind?:)
and if there are any suggestions towards books that have heavy meaning, and will give a great moral.(Often the sad books i find appeal to me.) As well i love non-fiction that is understandable. Perhaps like this one: All Quiet on the Western Front: A Novel: Erich Maria Remarque: 9780449911495: Amazon.com: Books
    Thanks for your time:)

    how about enid blyton's? :)
maybe it's not that heavy in the meaning, but, you'll get bunch of great moral lessons on it. plus, the themes are light, revolving around daily school life which is very entertaining to read and relaxing. :)

a lot of racism ,sexism and misogyny in enid blytons work,
i believe in the 70's some of her books had passages re-worked or removed as a result.

there was a lot of it back then so it is not to single her out but when i recently got some for my daughter i explained that they were from the "old days " and that women are treated differently these days,

then i got her to make me a coffee after she finished the vaccuming
