Now I think I can understand why people wear so much padding in US Football -- the players can't get bitten.
I liked a Brit newspaper writing a Headline " FAN(g)S of the Day" referring to a Uruguayan Footballer who plays for Liverpool FC when he bit a Chelsea player at their match over the weekend.
Is the Food THAT BAD in Liverpool that he gets so hungry he has to BITE an opponent -- who knows.
(I saw the Game on TV -- it was actually a very enjoyable game -- couldn't understand why it went on for nearly 7 minutes of extra time -- hardly any stopages from what I saw - extra time is known in the UK as "Fergie Time". (Man Utd supporters will understand that comment I'm sure).
The referee even missed the Biting incident too.
