thanks john, i dont drive so i usually walk most places locally. despite that i put on half a stone in the last 3 months
so im going to rethink things a little.
    Boobah,

You are over the initial hurdle.

I tried the Nicorette gum the first time, and that gum was so disgusting it drove me back to smoking.

The second time I used the Nicorette tabs under the tongue and it worked like a dream. Was meant to be a twelve week course with 3 lowering strengths, but I found I forgot about the tabs about 5 weeks into it.

Weight gain was an issue with the slow down in metabolism.

Perhaps I misled you a little, I walk every day early in the morning because of the dang heat and humidity later in the day lol. Not a stroll in the park but at a walking pace that is felt.

The walks to the convenience store are a bonus walk.

Stick in there friend for although the urge returns now and again it does get easier
I never tried the gum but started first trying with the tablets and they were awful.
I persevered for a couple of days with them until I could get to the doctors on the Monday and he put me on the patches. They were also a 12 week course with lowering strengths each week and that's what worked for me.

Yes you do get the occasional craving while first starting the course but not bad enough to give up. I've been smoke free now for 7˝ years.

Julian you know we are all routing for you, that goes for all you others that are trying to give up it may seem hard at first but it does get easier the further into quitting you get so keep on and in no time you can say you're a non-smoker.

Remembered trying the patch a few years ago and coming out in a rash everywhere. So all these are just an aid and the one that helps is dependant on the individual to achieving what it is your really want.

If you really want to quit then it is all in the mind and believing it and committing to it.

no matter tom, however you can have raised flower beds , planters and such like. that are chair friendly.
my sister in law used to teach chair bound kids horticulture and they had a raised bed garden to work in,
so even if it is window box stuff you can still enjoy the odd bloom throughout the year.
now this is where you say its a third storey apartment.( with a lift of course!)

Yippee finally got my new phone working, this has been some hassle and we're still not finished, but I finally got the SIM activated and a number for the phone.
I spent the day getting it and setting it up but still have plenty to sort out, I do like the phone though and at least wont keep getting the message that the Internal memory is low, even though there's hardly anything installed on the phone. That's the only complaint I had with the HTC.

Today I signed up for 7DFPS with a bunch of friends!
It's a world-wide challenge to make a good, HQ FPS game in just seven days.
I'm planning to do either the textures, 3D modelling or mess around in Unity. Really looking forward to it
