This path you're traveling to quit is easier on your family than the way that I quit was on my family (a 12-day hospital stay which included 4 days of being strapped down while unconscious....that's when the actual detoxing took place)

Well, it was much more than smokes that put me in there....lol. Pneumonia was the trigger......after 20 years of hard partying, the body's defenses were weak. Since I got out, I'm at about 5 1/2 years now of being all clean....now my only vices are soda pop and laziness.
