Well, it was much more than smokes that put me in there....lol. Pneumonia was the trigger......after 20 years of hard partying, the body's defenses were weak. Since I got out, I'm at about 5 1/2 years now of being all clean....now my only vices are soda pop and laziness.
good for you, its a nice feeling knowing you have beaten a few demons.

i dont do pop but i like zero percent lager.

I've got my cooling stand, it was slightly too big, if it still fits and the fan is quite loud.

I'm soooooo proud of your very hard work and efforts to get healthy again.. I've seen others try over and over again to stop beating up their body.. you got the message ( finally ) and did the
    work needed to get there.

( My DAD was one who had smoked ( non-drinker & non-druggie ) since he was only 15 yrs.. finally stoppped after having a lung sputing blood , doc's told him, either you quit or you die, I took him home after that from the hospital, saw him transformed into a non-smoker, after he laid his cig. pack on top of the ref.. where he saw them daily, I kept taking him to the doc for his check-ups where they ran a light down in his lung, to finally see his lung clear and well again, when he passed away in 1979 from a non related cause. )

Yesterday I installed a French Windows 7 Home Premium first time in my life, to find out how certain Windows features are called in French. Today I installed and applied a Japanese language pack, converting one of my Windows 8 user accounts to Japanese to find out how certain language features function when using two different character sets, our Latin based and Japanese in this case.

Have you ever tried to find your way on Japanese Windows? Even if you know Windows there will be frustrating clicking and searching to find out where everything is .

Should I now add Japanese and French in my CV as languages I master?

    :) Kari
