Careful John, you're treading on thin ice there.

I've booked my first tattoo for 4th of September, it going to take 3-4 hours (£240-£300)

Good luck with it but make sure you eat something before you have it done (ensures your sugar levels are right) sounds like you're having a large one done considering the price. It does hurt but it's worth it. Post pics when your done.

Joan I'm thankful for our recent outings I think he's making up for all the years we never went anywhere! Lol!

I'll get a picture when I get done it, in a few weeks.

Maybe I will have PooManUK design one for me.

Why don't the tatoo artist use Novacaine Spray to deaden the surface?

They do numb your arm or body a little, and the pain goes after while anyway and you don't feel anything. That's what I got told from my Dad.

I stretched my ears to 10mm (they've closed up now), which isn't exactly big, but I'll be able take the pain; I'm a man

Not a tattoo fan myself. You'll have this the rest of your life, make sure you want it when you're 50...60...70...

Bill is right, when you get one make sure it's something you really want it. I had my family crest done on my right leg a couple of years ago. 6 1/2 hours in one sitting.

Is it not boring lying or sitting in the same position for long periods of time? I would get one but it's the waiting for it that puts me off.
