I can't say that I feel sad, if anything I feel more free. We mutually agreed on this anyway, so I guess that it's for the best of both of us.

    Today...

    I've finished my book.

A few more proof reads and off to the publishers, but the hard work is complete.

Now I sweat, waiting for the critics to propel this tome to the best sellers list.

Don't ask about it - we're not supposed to talk about politics or religion on this forum.

Congrats, quite a feat! You could no doubt share the title, and people can look for it if they wish

I salute you on finishing it! I've started "mine" a dozen times at least...... still have the first 3 chapters somewhere but doubt if I'll ever finish it.

    Great idea Bill,

I'll post the title after the publisher accepts it. They are known to change titles for marketing - and.... they add pretty cover pictures too.
As it stands now, it's a "white album".

    Regards,

    Bill

    Thanks Scott,

I salute you as well for starting. It took me 30 years to get past the title page, so you're way ahead of the curve having 3 chapters. Once I decided I had to finish it, it only took about 6 months.

For me, I had to write, write, write, write, write. It was difficult to pick back up after only a few days of not writing (but I needed the breaks too).

So don't give up on your effort.

Today is an exceptionally good day for me. My 2tb 3.5" HDD came in, and my m890g digital multimeter. I am slowly transforming my quiet little room into an electronics cage. Like in that movie Enemy of the State, where the guy had a enclosed electronics box so they couldn't spy on him
