When I am browsing this good forum I Always feel: boy, these people know alot about computers; more than I do. I do not understand every question. Are there more out there who feel the same?

Yes I feel the same, but at the same time I am learning more and more each day from the forums.
I have learned a massive amount since joining the forums 3 years ago.
Some of the guys on here are so clever it's amazing and I take my hat off to them for the support and help they give to people.

We all had to start somewhere, once upon a time we were all clueless newbies
and there are some of us who'd do well to bear that in mind when replying to
some of the 'sillier' questions we receive.
I do wish, though, that we'd had forums like this when I 'bit the bullet' in 1994
and decided to upgrade to a PC from my trusty Commodore 64. Although I knew
all the basic principles of computing, the Osborne 386SX20 that I started with
was all Greek to me. And what a power-house it was! 4MB RAM and a whole 80
MB of hard-disk. And the stunning (?) VGA graphics with a whole 256 colours, I
was blown away with it. Even at the time, it was close to being obsolete, with
the 'new' Pentiums having just been released, but to me it was like a Cray II
compared to anything I'd used before.
But what could I actually do with it, apart from play games? And how did I fix it
if (when) something went wrong, or I killed it through inexperience? Oh, and why
doesn't it have sound? Or a game-port?
The internet was pretty primitive in those days, and I didn't have a modem or
a connection anyway, so I did the next-best thing. I bought every computing
magazine I could get my hands on, and read them from cover to cover. I soon
thinned them out to 4-6 that covered my needs and interests. I also hit the
local library for books on computing, and cultivated a few PC-owning friends.
This, and a lot of mistakes and trial and error, eventually led to my becoming
quite competent and familiar with both hardware and software, so much so
that when I finally decided a few years ago to actually get qualified , I found
that I had to do very little in the way of actual work in order to easily pass
the courses
Now, I'm here endeavoring to help others avoid some of the mistakes I made
and minimize the chances of them making fresh mistakes of their own.
But (insert god of choice here), I wish there had been a 'ThreeOneForums'
back then, it would have made the transition from the C64 to the PC so
much easier.

I feel safe to say we have members at all levels of knowledge. Many members have fields that they prefer. I also feel safe to say that most members of this Forum are here to help any way they can and to learn. In my case their is so much to learn it does get daunting at times.
Yeah, I feel the same, I just started learning about computers last 9 months ago, I can say for my self, I'm just an amateur person on computers, I usually do hardware trouble shooting or trouble shooting (learning more on this), then onto softwares, and then other stuff. Others says that I play games a lot on the PC, but actually I don't, I just play games for about 4 hours a day (not continuous), and watching some youtube videos, modding games, learning about computers (most of my time). I'm still learning more right now and no plans on stopping to learn about computers.
I think we'd all say we are still learning, I know I am. I think as well some find it easier to tell other people how to fix problems whereas others might know how to do it but not be able to tell others how to.
As someone said, we all started not knowing anything and have had to find ways to learn and progress, finding a place like this full of people willing to give help, no matter at what level that help is needed, is a wonderful thing and long may it last.
That's not continuous, I play for about 1 hour at a time, do some youtubing, learn about chemistry or physics (or just science) and some math, do some modding, play the game to check for tweaking and do the process again. I rest for a while like every 3 hours, stand up, check the situation outside, take some snacks. Currently it's summer here and during schooldays, I limit my self to 2 hours a day during weekdays and 7~8 hours a day in weekends. I study for 3~5 hours a day (depends on situation), and during examination days, I don't or use the computer for just 1 hour or less to check some stuff happening around.
