i dont think clunkfish was pointing out britton30's ignorance bill, he was saying not to add to others ignorance by posting incorrect information,
im thinking i quite like this bloke, he talks straight and direct
i were a smoker i would be opening a fresh pack right now and enjoying the cultural and intellectual differences of this excellent forum.

It's not necessarily the message, but how it is said. Guess I just think different. All the math is beyond me, guess I'm just not smart enough. But I treat people differently. A Guy

I'm not going to argue with you. You continue to prove my point, it's about attitude, but apparently lost on you, I'm out of here. A Guy
But you don't know what my attitude is - you don't know me or anything about me.

Why make nasty assumptions about people, criticise them in public, then run away? Not cool.

Run away? Hardly, but me arguing with you serves no purpose. You are now putting words in my mouth. Your posts say all that needs to be said, no assumptions. A Guy

Your point is crystal clear here, and I support it.

What started as a puzzle seems to be turning into a University debate and way over my head.

Please can we curb this now and try to keep our usual friendly approach to each other. We are not used to any animosity so can we just say that perhaps some members could think twice before using what might be construde as confrontational language. An argument is healthy but not when it "appears" to be personal! Not in this Forum anyway! Can we just move on please?

    +1

Next puzzle, an easy one to change the course of this thread back to what it was.

    For users of metric system:
If one brick weighs two kilograms and half a brick, how much do 3 bricks weigh?

    For users of imperial system:
If one brick weighs two pounds and half a brick, how much do 3 bricks weigh?
