Is it arrogant to be drawn to the word Genius?

Especially when you click and go, "Oh. Maths. Not my area", yet still leave the thread unchastened...

Arrogant? Of course not! When I saw the thread title I simply thought Julian has created this thread especially for me, as the title says .

Just don't look at all the convoluted arithmetic, and look at the simple pattern.

The last number is the first, then the added sum of all the numbers is the last.

So, 116 would be 6, then 6 plus 1 plus 1 = 8, so 68.
Logically 117 is 7 and 7 plus 1 plus 1 = 9, so 79.

It's not 69 = lunch for two.

You have to be joking or is this a super trick question?
First digit = last digit
Last digit = sum of all digits

Edit: oh and the answer is 79
