I think sometimes we have to remember why all the new members come here to ask questions - The main reason is the quality of the results they get.
The answer may well be there if you google it - Number 124625 out of 1536847 possibles as long as you follow the chain of 6 links that lead from the google answer to the actual solution.
The fact is the best way to answer a query about Windows 7 is to SevenForum it
you are a lot more likely to find the answer is the first one you get.
As to whether it is acceptable to just respond to a question with "just google it" the answer is sometimes, if the question is phrased in a way that does not follow general levels of courtesy.
Even then if there is a simple answer that may be given without effort on your part, why not just be helpful
