"I feel a thread coming on....
I thought I'd start one. Hoping for input from Australian members.
I've been fortunate to travel and live in different parts of the world. Living there for a while is best because you get a real feel for the cultural differences.
Australia is unique but suffers the tyranny of distance. It's size is 7,692,024 km˛ which just a little smaller than the USA coming in at 9,826,675 km˛. Population of the US ~ 314 million; population of Australia ~ 23 million. Our indigenous aboriginal population have lived on this continent for ~40,000 years!
We are also quite distant from the US and Europe but very close to our Asia/Pacific neighbors.
Still bring your money and pay a visit.
